It’s Getting Harder to Recruit Great Candidates: Indeed CV is Here to Help

Source hard-to-find candidates on Indeed CV

This month’s ONS Labour Market Statistics showed continued wage growth in the first half of 2015. Today, workers are seeing the highest real pay rises since 2007.

This increase in wages may be resulting from increased competition for talent amongst employers. The labor marketing is tightening and many of today’s highly skilled candidates are lucratively employed.

Tara Sinclair, Chief Economist at Indeed, was watching as these results came in earlier in July. “Across the pond, we’re jealous,” she tweeted from Washington, DC.

As the UK labour market continues to improve, candidates will have more and more great options. For employers, this means deciding on a multipronged strategy to reach the talent they need. In addition to prominently placing your job postings so that they appear in the job searches of relevant candidates, contacting potential employees directly can enhance your chances of finding the person who is the best fit for the job.

There are 3.2 million CVs on Indeed and it’s free to search for candidates. You can narrow your searches to get results based on the exact parameters of the job: years of experience, previous job titles, previous employers, and location. These filters enable employers to identify the pool of candidates who meet their needs. You have the option to save these filters and receive email alerts when someone with the right qualifications adds their CV to Indeed.
